- W4386533890 abstract "The novel coronavirus disease has created greater havoc, which has shaken the globe to its core. In this COVID era, there have been several make-and-break perspectives that have been considered regarding the environment. Cleaner skies and rivers have been noticed, but there are some critical problems that need to be addressed, and this includes waste management issues. Various point sources and other foundations have been recognized that have been generating waste in the COVID era. These include domestic households, civic structures, health care facilities, and some industries that mandate to prepare vaccines for COVID-19. Officials and legislators, on a global scale, must share the responsibility of centralizing a greater focus on the unanticipated waste generation and the change in the composition of the waste due to the onset of the novel coronavirus disease. This chapter in detail will emphasize each point source and the type of waste generated from them. Also, greater attention has been directed toward the type of waste mitigation strategies generated in the COVID era." @default.
