- W4386698275 abstract "The stability and reliability of electrical equipment depends first on its technical resource. One of the main reasons affecting the technical resource of the electrical equipment of large irrigation pumping stations of the first lift is the starting transient modes of pumping units. The study of methods to increase the technical resource of electrical equipment of powerful irrigation pumping stations of the first lift based on the use of soft start systems for high-voltage electric motors is an urgent task. In the process of research, methods of analysis of technological processes of pumping stations, methods of mathematical and computer modeling of the electric drive were applied. Computer models have been developed to study the transient processes of asynchronous and synchronous motors during direct and soft start. A method for smooth start-up of high-voltage electric motors of irrigation pumping stations of the first lift based on a current source inverter is proposed. The proposed method for smooth start-up of high-voltage electric motors of irrigation pumping stations of the first lift makes it possible to eliminate the negative effects of transient conditions on the operation of electrical equipment and, thereby, increase the technical life and reliability of the pumping station power system as a whole." @default.
