- W4386765114 abstract "This research aims to study fuel consumption testing and energy-saving technologies based on the China light-duty vehicle test cycle-passenger (CLTC-P). A new fuel consumption testing method is proposed in this paper. The method applies a constant external load during the test to study its impact on the vehicle’s fuel consumption. The test results show that the fuel consumption increases by approximately (8.8-9.3)% when the vehicle is operating under an additional load of (45-50)A. However, the growth rate of fuel consumption decreases as the load current increases. Additionally, the study verifies that traditional vehicles equipped with intelligent generator systems have a fuel-saving effect and optimization space under different external load. This study provides a new idea for optimizing energy-saving technologies for traditional fuel vehicles and supports the evaluation standards of Off-cycle technology/device energy saving effects evaluation methods for passenger cars in the future." @default.
