- W4386804910 abstract "The work is devoted to the study of the use of additional spiral reinforcement of the area of the sleeper sub-rail platform as one of the ways to increase the crack resistance and durability of reinforced concrete sleepers. The article analyzes patents devoted to the development of designs of spirals of different configurations. According to the results of the review, a spiral variant is proposed, which differs in that it immediately reinforces the space around 2 dowels and between them, and the height of the spiral occupies only half the height of the dowel. In order to increase the strength characteristics and reliability of reinforced concrete sleepers, the spiral is mounted on dowels (on top of two dowels), creating additional reinforcement of dowels. The result of the spiral application is an increase in the crack resistance of the reinforced concrete base in the area of the sub-rail platform from splitting and radial cracks directed from the inlet of the dowel. Thus, the results obtained in the course of the work are of interest for further study of this issue" @default.
