- W4386903224 abstract "In today’s turbulent digital society, rivalries have unfolded for the user’s attention, for his actions, choices and for his opinion. Media, including social media, act as a space of informational confrontation. In many studies, the term information attack is associated with some emotional and evaluative component and is mentioned in the context of information wars. However, the authors of the article suggest taking a different look at the information attack, namely as a tool for promoting a special situational frame in the media space. This approach allows us to evaluate the vector, plane and space of information dissemination at the algorithmic level. The article proposes an attack model in the form of mediatization of an incident. The authors also propose an approach to the selection of signs for detecting an information attack. In the experimental part, the authors demonstrate the results of the analysis of situational frames in the media of USA, Germany, Great Britain. The empirical basis of the study was a set of publications on the doping scandal at the Beijing Olympics – 2022." @default.
