- W4387038702 abstract "The paper presents the general design of limiting reactors, directly connected between the ending of cable sheaths and the HV/MV electrode, aimed to limit the overcurrent flowing though the shields in case of specific kinds of cross-country fault, affecting two different lines. The preliminary design has been led by Enel Grids with University La Sapienza thanks a complete study which allowed to implement exhaustive network models during the faults, to evaluate the overcurrents and finally, to estimate the stresses affecting possible weak points through overheating of buried components. In this scenario new special elements have been thought, able to mitigate the stressing effects above mentioned, due to the cross-country fault currents occurring on medium voltage networks." @default.
