• W4387046480 abstract "A dynamic numerical model of a solar thermal installation is developed. The aim of the installation is to supply hot water (over 80 °C) twice a day to a veal calf farm. It consists of 16 evacuated tubes solar water heaters associated to an unpressurised tank using the thermosiphon effect. The particularity of the installation is its layout, which alternates between solar collectors connected in series and those connected in parallel. This arrangement allows both pre-heating and storage of hot water. The solar installation contributed by 60% to the energy demand during a production cycle. The model was developed on TRNSYS 18 based on existing types adapted to the configuration of the system. The modelling of the solar installation was achieved in order to simulate the energy supplied. The calibration and validation of the model are presented in this paper. The first step is to carry out a sensitivity analysis using the Morris screening method to identify the most influential model parameters. The second step is an optimisation method used to minimize the difference between the simulated and measured energy to determine the influent parameters values. Finally, the model is compared with measurements during two periods with different meteorological conditions." @default.
