- W4387260482 abstract "The aim was to assess the cervical imaging of the uterus and microvessel flow velocity waveforms in precancerous lesions of the cervix and to find a model to predict precancerous lesions of the cervix. A total of one hundred-one patient with cervical HPV infections with abnormal cytology and colposcopy results were enrolled to assess the vascular classification of the cervix and microvessel flow velocity using TV-PDU before treatment. Fifty-eight patients with abnormal colposcopic findings in HSIL and 29 LSIL were enrolled to assess vascular grading (VG) of the cervix and microvessel flow velocity using TVPDU before conisation. Six parameters, including vascular grading classification (Class I, Class II, Class III), lowest pulsatility index (PI), resistance index (RI), peak systolic velocity (PS), end-diastolic velocity (ED), time average maximum velocity (TAMV), and vascular index (VI = PS/ED), were measured and recorded. One hundred-five patient was used as the control group. In vascular grading, most of the high-grade squamous intraepithelial (HSIL) are class I (77.6%), class II (13.8%), and class III (8.6%); the same as HSIL, most of the low-grade squamous intraepithelial (LSIL) are class I (72.4%), class II (24.1%), and class III (3.5%). Among the other six parameters, the pulsatility index (PI) was significantly lower in the HSIL group than in the LSIL group (P = 0.001). The mean PI, RI, and VI of the HSIL group demonstrated incremental decreased values from the normal cervix, CIN II, to CIS of the cervix. Mean PI and RI of the precancerous lesions of the cervix also demonstrated incremental decreased values from the normal cervix, LSIL, to HSIL of the cervix. In the final best prediction model, the area under the curve (AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves was 0.969 in the study groups. This prediction model may be helpful in the auxiliary diagnosis of precancerous lesions of the cervix." @default.
