- W4387407024 abstract "In our recent work, it is found that the error of the image-based method is significantly affected by the overlap effects for polydisperse particles. This can be attributed to large and small particles having conflicting requirements for optical lens parameters. Based on this point, a new measurement method for polydisperse particles is proposed in this study. Specifically, the measured particles are cut into several classes based on their size range, and every class is measured by one vision probe with appropriate optical parameters. Then, their results are combined to get the distribution of the particle property. This combination measurement method is demonstrated and validated in bidisperse and polydisperse particle systems using two vision probes (a ϕ22 mm probe and a ϕ68 mm probe). It is observed that the measurement results by the new measurement method are very close to the standard value, and the measurement accuracy is significantly improved." @default.
