- W4387409897 abstract "Gene therapy has long been considered a viable treatment for serious disorders, whether they are acquired by genetic predisposition or inherited. A nucleic acid-based medication must, however, reach into the target cell while avoiding a range of biological defenses that have evolved through time. Therefore, the development of a trustworthy delivery vector is crucial for the accomplishment of gene therapy. Viral and non-viral vectors have been the main targets of research into gene delivery vehicles. Due to the recent success of the non-viral delivery of nucleic acids, there has been a significant increase in the amount of research and medicines connected to nucleic acids that have been produced during the past ten years. This system composed of physical and chemical components. Non-viral vectors provide many benefits, including safety, cost-efficiency, accessibility, simple production, efficient cell/tissue targeting, a minimal immune response, and the ability to employ plasmids at chosen molecular weights. In this chapter, we try to investigate in vivo challenges obstructing non-viral nucleic acid delivery various diseases and the strategies can be used to overcome from them. Further improvements to increase the efficiency of non-viral vectors are needed before to see any remarkable clinical results." @default.
