Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Mô tả cắt ngang 40 bệnh nhân FRS được phẫu thuật tại bệnh viện Tai Mũi Họng TP.HCM. Quản lý và phân tích số liệu bằng phần mềm SPSS 20.0. Kết quả: 90% FRS là thể u nấm. 90% FRS ở một bên xoang. 97,5% bệnh do Aspergillus sp., Mucor sp. chỉ gặp ở thể viêm mũi xoang do nấm xâm lấn cấp tính. Lâm sàng và nội soi ít đặc hiệu; CT scan và giải phẫu bệnh giữ vai trò chẩn đoán chính. Kết luận: FRS ở bệnh viện Tai Mũi Họng TP.HCM chủ yếu là thể u nấm. Aspergillus sp. là vi nấm gây bệnh thường gặp nhất. CT scan và giải phẫu bệnh giữ vai trò chính trong chẩn đoán. Abstract Background: Fungal rhinosinusitis (FRS) has a variety of clinical manifestations. Acute invasive fungal form is rare, so it is easily missed or misdiagnosed with malignancies; while other forms of the disease have no specific symptoms, they are often diagnosed at a late stage. Therefore, it is always necessary to have the most up - to - date diagnostics. Purpose: Description of clinical characteristics, endoscopic, CT scan and pathology of the fungal rhinosinusitis patients who were operated at Ear Nose Throat Hospital Ho Chi Minh City were all examinated. Methods: A descriptive cross - sectional study on 40 FRS patients undergoing surgery at Ear Nose Throat Hospital Ho Chi Minh City was performed. The data were processed and analyzed by SPSS software version 20.0. Results: 90% of FRS are fungal ball. 90% of fungal rhinosinusitis occurs on one side of the sinus. 97.5% cases are caused by Aspergillus sp., Mucor sp. only found in acute invasive fungal rhinosinusitis. Clinical symptoms and endoscopy are less specific. CT scan and pathology play a major diagnostic role. Conclusions: Fungal ball is the main type of Fungal rhinosinusitis patients at Ear Nose Throat Hospital Ho Chi Minh City. Aspergillus sp. is the most common fungal pathogen. CT scan and pathology play a major role in the diagnosis." @default.
