- W4387602167 abstract "Human-machine interfaces (HMIs) are fully on-board software and hardware that enable control and communication with medical devices and processes, including cardiac defibrillators, hospital beds, infusion pumps, kidney dialysis machines, diabetes monitoring equipment, staff communication devices, ambulance switch panel, etc. The use of artificial intelligence and human-machine interference to assist medical personnel in monitoring and treating vulnerable patients in ways that enhance results while protecting privacy might help avoid many of the fatalities that occur each year because of medical mistakes. As crucial as any other element of providing effective medical treatment, maintaining a safe atmosphere shows a degree of compassion and attention to patient welfare. HMI will increase efficiency for professionals using medical products with more user-friendly operating systems. The development of an automated, adaptive system that ensures human integration into the environment and achieves mutual tune with it is made possible by HMI. This chapter primarily focuses on how the human-machine interface is making hospitals more patient-friendly in various healthcare systems. HMI systems may significantly enhance communication in medical settings using a variety of techniques. Medical staff can interact more quickly and effectively to make sure patients receive care. Additionally, HMI assists minimize clutter and concentrating on what matters most: the well-being and health of patients." @default.
