- W4387602171 abstract "Healthcare is the fundamental assurity of people's well-being, and unavailability of medical personnel will have a wide-ranging impact on healthcare. As the population ages, the issues with complex and costly medical care and hospital treatment becomes increasingly obvious. The expenditure of educating doctors is exorbitant, medical talent is unusual, and medical staff funding is minimal. Second, those patients who are unable to communicate with their doctors because of some disability or their body organs not working properly, with the help of this system, this problem can be minimized. This system allows to easily interact with their physicians, healthcare staffs. This system utilizes image processing and machine vision technology as well as a digital camera and software, to create the interface system. HMI refers to human-machine interface, which is the study of people, machine, and their interactions. HMI is the two-way method of sharing information through various sign and actions between the human and the machine. A detailed understanding of the operational and functional requirements is the first step in designing an HMI system for medical diagnostic equipment. The human-machine interface with head control has several applications. This Interface technology is based on the creation of a new miniature system for the discreet monitoring of biological signals utilizing wearable or embedded sensors incorporated in advanced HMI to be employed in the performance of healthcare jobs. The true purpose and application is to enable communication for severely handicapped persons with the hope of expanding the possibilities given by this technology in rehabilitation and healthcare field in the future. This chapter's objective is to discuss in detail about HMI system, how it works as well as its application and future role in improving healthcare practice." @default.
