- W4387620244 abstract "The aim of this research is to increase student motivation and learning outcomes in Informatics learning, especially Computational Thinking Material through optimizing problem-based methods (Problem Based Learning). This research is classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) with a research design consisting of two cycles and each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were students in class X-MPLB.2 of SMK Negeri 1 Sragen, totaling 36 students. Data collection is carried out by observation and tests at the end of each cycle. The collected data is arranged in the form of tables and graphs and then analyzed. The data analysis used in this research is a qualitative analysis technique. Qualitative analysis describes data from observations of student motivation and learning achievement in the form of formative test scores at the end of each cycle. The research results show that optimizing problem-based learning methods can increase student motivation and learning outcomes in Computational Thinking Materials. This increase is described as follows: 1) The average percentage of student learning motivation increased by 12.23%, in cycle I it was 71.66% and cycle II it was 83.89%. 2) The average score of students' skill competencies increased by 7.23 points, namely in cycle I it reached 76.94 and cycle II it became 84.17. 3) The average class score increased by 6.95 points, namely in the first cycle it reached 73.19 and in the second cycle it became 80.14. 4) Classical learning completeness increased by 8.33% in cycle I to 77.78% and in cycle II to 86.11%. @default.
