- W4387667098 abstract "The outward-grown hybrid Pt/Ru-modified aluminide coating (OG coating) and inward-grown hybrid Pt/Ru-modified aluminide coating (IG coating) are obtained by high-temperature low-activity aluminizing and low-temperature high-activity aluminizing techniques respectively. The OG coating and IG coating are oxidized cyclically at 1200 ℃ for 100 h. The OG coating displays better oxidation resistance than the IG coating. This superior performance can be attributed to the higher Ru content at the coating/superalloy interface and lower refractory elemental contents in the OG coating, which effectively decreases the rumpling degree and prevent severe failure on the alumina scale during cyclic oxidation." @default.
