W44186223 abstract "3D model acquisition is a fundamental issue in computer graphics and computer vision. However, constructing 3D model manually using software such as 3D MAX and Maya is a tedious and expensive work. Therefore, finding out how to obtain 3D model directly from the real world becomes a hot research topic. In this paper, we describe a framework for obtaining 3D model from multi-view images of a real object. We start with images of an object taken from different views, and then feature points extracted and matched. From the correspondences, camera calibration data and 3D geometry are acquired. Experimental results in the end of the paper show the effectiveness of the framework." @default.
