- W45334520 abstract "To understand the regulating effect of nano-meter materils on the growth and development of forests,we examined the effects of 50~2 000 mg/L nano-meter TiO2 on the seed germination,seedling growth and physiological function of Pinus tabulaeformis.The results were as follows.Different concentrations of nano-meter TiO2 could all increase the seed germination,seedling growth and enhance physiological function to some degree,and the positive effects increased fast and then slowly with the rise of treatment concentrations.The 1 000 mg/L treatment had the best effect in increasing seed germination rate,germination index,germination energy,vigor index,seedling height and fresh weight and reducing mildewing rate,which were increased by 28.00%,18.00%,12.36%,126.95%,19.57%,36.89% and decreased by 15.33% respectively compared with the contrast.The 500 mg/L treatment had the best effect in increasing root length,root system activity,protein content,SOD and POD activities and decreasing the relative cell membrane permeability and malondialdehyde content,which were increased by 111.91%,53.85%,16.32%,170.93%,141.94% and decreased by 45.18% and 51.27% respectively compared with that of the contrast.The statistical analysis results showed that there were significant difference of all above indexes between optimal concentration treatment and contrast.It proved that proper concentration of nano-meter TiO2 could not only increase seed germination and seedling growth,but also ultimately improve physiological function and resistance to adversities of P.tabulaeformis's." @default.
