Dabei beabsichtigen viele gar nicht, eine berufl iche Karriere in der Forschung an Universitäten oder in (Praxis-)Forschungsinstituten einzuschlagen. Studierenden kann dabei unklar bleiben, wozu sie ein Wissen über und praktische Kompetenz in empirischen Forschungsmethoden überhaupt benötigen. Vergleichsweise überzeugend erscheint in diesem Zusammenhang die Auffassung, zukünftige Pädagog/inn/en müssten in der Lage sein, für das eigene Handeln relevante Forschungsergebnisse aufzufi nden, hinsichtlich der Gültigkeit und Reichweite zu prüfen und zu kritisieren. Damit mag aber noch nicht hinreichend begründet sein, warum Studierende – jenseits der didaktischen Funktion, derzufolge wir etwas besser verstehen, wenn wir es einmal selbst gemacht haben – selbst forschen sollen." @default.
