W45751278 abstract "Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Studie wurden 20 Kuhe mit klinischen und 75 Kuhe mit subklinischen Mastitiden aus 22 biologischen und 5 konventionellen Hochgebirgsmilchviehbetrieben der Schweiz homoopathisch behandelt (HOM). Ihnen wurde 5 Tage einmal taglich ein homoopathisches Komplexmittel oral verabreicht. Vergleichend wurden 29 klinisch und 68 subklinisch an Mastitis erkrankte Kuhe derselben 27 Betriebe intrazisternal antibiotisch therapiert (AB).Vor Therapiebeginn und am Tag 19 sowie 35 danach wurden die Euter klinisch untersucht und allen laktierenden Eutervierteln Anfangsgemelksproben zur bakterio-zytologischen Analyse entnommen. Zwischen klinischer, bakteriologischer und vollstandiger Heilung wurde differenziert. Heilungsraten wurden separat fur die Tage 19 und 35 sowie unter Berucksichtigung beider Termine auf den Ebenen Euterviertel und Kuh ermittelt. Zudem wurden die Zellzahlen der Anfangsgemelke fur die Tage 19 und 35 sowie der Kuhgesamtgemelke der behandelten Kuhe wahrend 5 auf die Therapie folgenden Milchleistungsprufungen ausgewertet.Im Falle klinischer Mastitiden zeigten sich signifikante Unterschiede zu Gunsten der Antibiose lediglich fur die bakteriologische (AB: 56%, n = 15; HOM: 23%, n = 5) und vollstandige (AB: 41%, n = 11; HOM: 14%, n = 3) Heilung der Euterviertel am Tag 35 nach Therapiebeginn. Nach Behandlung subklinischer Mastitiden konnte unter Berucksichtigung beider Kontrolltermine (Tag 19 und 35) eine vollstandige Heilung auf Viertelebene in 54% (n = 96, AB) und 7% (n = 12, HOM), auf Tierebene in 24% (n = 16, AB) und 0% (HOM) der Falle festgestellt werden; hier sowie fur alle weiteren Therapieerfolgskriterien zeigten sich signifikante Unterschiede zu Gunsten der Antibiose.Neben der Therapieform beeinflussten mastitisassoziierte Charakteristika (Viertelanfangsgemelkszellzahl und -bakteriologie, Anzahl pro Kuh erkrankter Viertel, Therapiesaison, Laktationsstadium und -nummer) den Therapieerfolg." @default.
