- W46865657 abstract "Matrix –fracture transfer function was introduced since fifty years ago (Barenblatt, 1960; Warren and Root, 1963) as the main characteristic to be considered in this particular saturated groundwater model. Afterwards, two branches were developed following that definition: a deterministic way (Zimmerman et al., 1993; Gerke and Van Genuchten, 1993) and a stochastic methodology (Zhang, 2002). Both of them treat the transfer flux as a function of the hydraulic pressure gradient across the contact region. Further objective was to verify the influence of this function in well test analysis. Case studies were compiled in order to establish a comparison among them with a global dual hydraulic conductivity coefficient. Finally, conclusions and future lines of investigations in this area are included." @default.
