- W571062091 abstract "The problem of human error is one of the most significant factors in accidents on the railway. Outlined within this document are the studies of such incidents, as reported by the workers of the railway such as reaction times, safety measures which seem to indicate error. Sampled are 65 train operators from Locomotive Section from Ruma, and 208 railway workers, in order to identify risk factors caused by human error using statistical methods. In the study, a simulation was used to calculate reaction times and the number of errors, on the basis of which, the reliability of the operators involved in accidents was assessed. Looking at other accidents, such as road and air, what was studied was the reaction times and the amount of errors caused by participants. What has been shown is that there is a certain delay between the perception and motor reaction times which can greatly affect the traffic safety. In this study, participants have been classified according to reaction times and job performance, and an analysis has been made on the impact of reaction times relative to the number of incidents. This allows for an average number of incidents to be extrapolated based on the reaction times and job performance. To process the collected statistical data and data obtained through computer simulated tests on subjects, methods and models were used, which are based on statistical analysis of the reaction times and job performance of the sample taken in relation to the median values from the sample." @default.
