- W599728433 abstract "Recently, lots of low-cost carrier (LCC) companies have founded and get popularization as new airline style. In Japan, Peach Aviation started business as LCC in 2012. However, it is true that some companies are suffering from a slump in business. Peach Aviation succeeded because it sets up hub airport in Kansai International Airport and runs many cash-cow routes. To establish new LCC company, considering airline networks is the most important to success. Therefore, in this research, the authors propose a mathematical model to optimize airline network, flight volumes, and number of crafts for maximize new LCC's profit supposing hub-spoke style using mathematical programming problem simultaneously. First, the authors calculated the case of single-hub problem, and multi-hub is considered after that. When both Narita and Kansai International Airports are picked as hub airport, new LCC's profit is maximized.近年，格安航空会社(LCC)と呼ばれ，効率化の向上によって低価格かつサービスが簡素化されるかわりに低い航空運賃を提供する航空会社が出現し，交通手段の選択肢が増えてきている．LCCが日本に登場してからは，今までは高額な料金を払う必要があった遠い場所に気軽に行けるようになった．しかし，従来のレガシーキャリアには存在しないデメリットもいくつか存在する．LCCのビジネスモデルが確立していく中で，LCC自体の知名度は高まってきてはいるものの，安全性への不安，使用する空港の遠さ，運航時間のイレギュラーさ，便数の少なさなどから，利用する人が決して多いわけではなく，運営に苦労する会社も少なくない．新規LCCの設立に当たっては，どこに路線を就航させるかが航空会社の成否のカギを握ることは言うまでもない．以上のような背景から，本研究では，国内線へと新規参入するLCC会社に焦点を当て，その利益を最大化し得る就航路線網を導出することを目的とする．具体的には，LCCが多く採用している路線網方式としてハブ・スポーク方式8)を想定し，複数のハブ空港を考慮した路線網，便数，そして機材数の同時決定モデルを提案する．" @default.
