The four-year cooperation of 28 Partners will continue through 2010. With the goal of improving traffic safety and traffic flow the partners are working together in order to design, develop and evaluate innovative driver assistance systems, knowledge and information technologies as well as solutions for efficient traffic management. The Car2Car and Car2Iinfrastructure communication will be use as an important building block for future cooperative vehicle-infrastructure applications.
