• W609980469 abstract "Die Oberflaechenrauheit stellt eine wichtige Einflussgroesse fuer das Trag- und Verformungsverhalten aufgrund von Haftverbund und Rissverzahnung zwischen zwei Betonen dar. Obgleich sich der Bemessungswert der Tragfaehigkeit im Bereich von Betonschubfugen aufgrund unterschiedlicher Rauheit verdoppeln kann, existiert keine einheitliche, treffende Methode zur Quantifizierung des subjektiven Begriffs rau. Es wird versucht eine Differenzierung und Definition des wesentlichen Charakters der Rauheit zu geben. Verschiedene Parameter zur Erfassung und Modellvorstellungen zur Abbildung der Rauheit aus der Literatur werden vorgestellt und im Anschluss mit Hilfe eigener Versuche verglichen. Die Versuchreihe umfasst hierbei unterschiedlich erzeugte Oberflaechenrauheiten, sowie verschiedene Messmethoden. Es zeigte sich, dass die Aussage der einzelnen Parameter stark beschraenkt ist und eine Charakterisierung nur mit mehreren, nicht wesensverwandten Parametern moeglich ist. Bis auf das so genannte Klammer-Profil wichen die untersuchten Modellvorstellungen stark von den gemessenen Rauheitsstrukturen ab und ihre Anwendung zur Berechnung von uebertragbaren Kraeften erscheint folglich fragwuerdig. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: The roughness of concrete surfaces has a major influence on the structural behaviour of concrete-to-concrete bond and shear friction. Although surface roughness may double the design value of shear strength in concrete joints, a uniform and matching method to quantify the subjective term rough does not exist. An attempt to establish a definition of roughness characteristics and a possibility to differentiate them is made. Different parameter and calculation models to describe the surface roughness from different authors are introduced and compared in a experimental study. Different kinds of surface preparations were tested as well as different measurement methods. As a result it seemed that a single parameter could not describe a surface roughness in a sufficient way. A useful definition was only possible using at least two independent parameters. Except the so called Klammer-Profil, all roughness models did vary widely from the actual measured surface roughness and their application in calculation of structural capacities seems to be not accurate.
