- W618094317 abstract "In order to solve the waterproof problem of high-speed railway subgrade surface in cold regions, a new mastic asphalt concrete waterproof layer (MACWL) was proposed in this paper. Firstly, the material properties of the MACWL were assessed through the laboratory experiments, including Lueer test, bending beam test, the linear contraction coefficient test, Indentation test, and Marshall stability test. The results indicate that MACWL is suitable for the small workspace of the high-speed railway subgrade because of its good workability. Both high-temperature and low-temperature performances, as well as waterproofness of MACWL meet the requirements of the waterproof layer well in cold regions. Especially, its deformation compliance and cracking resistance are extremely good. Secondly, cooperative performance tests were conducted to obtain the pullout strength and shear strength in the adhesive zone of MAC and cement concrete base. Finally, the thermal stress was investigated through a finite element model. The results show that the pullout strength and shear strength can resist thermal stress in the adhesive zone. Considering synthetically from economic benefits and material properties, 5 cm thickness MACWL should be proposed. It could be concluded that MAC is a favorable material for waterproof layer on high-speed railway subgrade." @default.
