• W620074811 abstract "Der Beitrag beschreibt ein komplettes Pre-Crash-initiiertes Rueckhaltesystem und diskutiert dessen Schutzwirkung. Die Basis bildet ein detailliert entwickeltes mathematisches Modell, in welchem dieses Rueckhaltesystem in ein heutiges Fahrzeug integriert ist. Das modellierte Pre-Crash-initiierte Rueckhaltesystem ist mit Komponenten ausgestattet, deren virtuelle Kennlinien (Wirkungen) mit heute verfuegbaren Rueckhaltesystem-Technologien abgebildet werden koennen. Optimiert wurde auf die beiden Unfall-Extreme Euro NCAP und US NCAP sowie die Insassengroessen 5 Prozent Frau bis zum 95 Prozent Mann. Im Ergebnis zeigt sich die Effektivitaet im speziellen Auslegungsfall, insbesondere aber die Breitbandigkeit des Nutzens ueber die unterschiedlichen Unfallbedingungen und Ausgangslagen im Fahrzeuginnern. Die deutliche Erhoehung des Insassenschutzes in dem neuen Pre-Crash-initiierten Rueckhaltesystem sowie seine Robustheit ohne Adaptivitaet und ohne sonstige Komplexitaet in der Aktuatorik werden deutlich. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: This paper is introducing a complete pre-crash-initiated restraint system and shows its level of occupant protection. It is based on a in detailed mathematical model that integrates this restraint system in an actual vehicle. The modeled pre-crash-initiated restraint system is comprising components, of which the virtual physical characteristics can be realized by actual restraint technologies. This pre-crash-initiated restraint system has been optimized on the accident extremes of EURO NCAP and US NCAP, as well as on the occupant range from the 5 percentile woman up to the 95 percentile man. Results show a high efficiency in single cases as well as the robustness of the occupant protection under a variety of accident conditions inside and from outside of the vehicle. The enormous increase in occupant protection level of the new pre crash restraint system is the prerequisite for its robustness and wide coverage without adaptivity and complexity of the actuators.
