- W62403355 abstract "A recent re-reading of Psychic-the Science of Psychical Activity by Russell N. Cassel, D.Ed. and John K. Meyer, Ph.D. has prompted me to offer some observations on my experiences as a practicing scholar of para-psychology, in relation to this work. Professor Cassell, and Dr. Meyer, in Module VII, entitled Multiple Levels of Reality, expands on be part played in psychic activity by the five senses. Regarding the sense of sight in particular he writes, (1): should be clearly noted that there are many more light rays present in one's atmosphere than one ever perceives, and that what each person perceives is only a small segment of the total present. I also believe this, and would go a step further, claiming that what accounts for ethereal is due to the of light. It should also be noted that as the choice in the speed of film used in a camera determines an end result, so our anatomy responds to light, speed, and sight, in much the same way, resulting in positive and negative seeing. Results in positive seeing, reveal how much our impression setting, (like setting up a camera), has taken effect. Results in the negative reveal our lack of thought regarding the subject of seeing. However, we are grateful to those like Professor Cassel and Dr. Meyer, e.g. such peoples as Buddhist monks, medical men and women, who have given us an understanding of the benefits of the slowing down process. Understandably, little is going to be gained with a racing heart rate, whether you are an athlete or not. My guidance to all apprentices in Parapsychology is eventually to expect to perceive ethereal seeing, and to look forward to achieving, a far greater Innervision, and outervision, by the of one's 'atmospherical light. This is an adjustable faculty, which works hand in hand with our unseen visitors who are quietly working with us from behind the veil, and are sympathetically drawn to use because of our deep rooted emotion, something we all possess in varying degrees. This goes without saying: the deeper the emotion, the deeper the impression. I strongly believe that strong emotion stimulates and fuels my own ESP helping me to in short and long distances. I have personally experienced (more than the norm) seeing since the age of five. Consequently, for me this is an awareness, self realized, and later disciplined, which has developed because of the peculiar state, depth, and height of my emotion in the arena of seeing, with the altering of my light, It is due to this alteration that I am able to perceive the vision which many are striving to seek through the medium of the sense of light. At this point it will be of benefit for me to continue the discussion with reference to not only sight, but to others of the major senses. Not only do the constraints of the brevity of such an article as this make this advisable, but also the fact that the senses rarely act in total isolation from each other makes this imperative. From the many encounters throughout my life as a sensitive, which I believe are germane to this issue, I choose the following as an example: In the early fifties, I was walking with my mother in our local park, Tooting Bec. in London. It was, Sunday, August 1955. I have not forgotten this, not only because of what happened that day, but because I had celebrated with my triplet sisters our fifth birthday on the previous Tuesday. As we approached a large residence within the precincts of the park, I distinctly heard a loud voice, shouting: Help! Murder! The voice, I was certain, came from an upper floor window of the house, a castle - like building with turrets adorning its roof. Amazed, I ran to my mother, pleading and pulling at her dress, begging her to watch the exhibition which I had witnessed. Disappointingly, my mother said that she could see and hear nothing, as I had seen and heard, frustrated by my insistence, she directed me back to the park to play. …" @default.
