- W640299938 abstract "中央日本において，近畿東海地域から北陸，新潟，房総地域にかけて分布する前期鮮新世の広域テフラ－坂井火山灰層とその相当層の広域性を検討した．坂井火山灰層とその相当層は，発泡のよい火山ガラスからなり極少量の黒雲母を含む．火山ガラスの化学組成がK2Oに富みCaOに乏しく，特に微量成分においてBaやSrが著しく乏しいという特徴を示す．堆積年代は，各地域の挟在層準において，Znp-大田火山灰層の下位，浮遊性有孔虫化石N.19帯上部，Gilbert ChronのCochiti Subchronに近接した層位等から，およそ4.1 Maと推定される．坂井火山灰層とその相当層の給源は，粒径や層厚の変化，火山ガラスの化学組成の特徴から，近畿地方より西方と推定され，北九州から山陰にかけての鮮新世アルカリ火山岩の活動と関係する可能性がある．坂井火山灰層とその相当層は，極めて特徴的な火山ガラスの化学組成を示すことから，今後，他の地域でも見出される可能性が高く，前期鮮新世の重要な鍵層となると予想される．" @default.
