- W649285902 abstract "Climate changes are already affecting multiple levels of both private and public sectors. The rate of climate change adaptation must therefore be increased by efficient and intelligent efforts of all actors in society. This study maps the existing and required resources in terms of knowledge in the area of climate change adaptation of employees at Riksbyggen in order to facilitate their efforts to implement it as part of their customer solutions. Riksbyggen exerts environmental impact but also depends on a society that is robust to climate change. The empirical material consists of qualitative interviews with employees on Riksbyggen. The study's conclusions are that Riksbyggen has good prospects for an ambitious and well- developed work on adaptation to climate change because of its already well-implemented work with sustainability. Climate-related impacts need to be communicated internally in order to face the uncertainty and complexity that exists on climate change impacts and consequences. Concrete tools for information dissemination, vulnerability analysis of the existing housing stock as well as a concrete cost calculation are features requested by the employees. Through its work on climate adaptation, Riksbyggen can contribute to the national efforts of adaptation to a changing climate." @default.
