- W652481025 abstract "Objective: To observe the effect of ultrasonic therapy on plasma contents of GMP-140 and vWF and hemorheology and the recovery of neurological function in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI). Methods: Seventy-four ACI patients were randomly divided into 2 groups: ultrasonic group (n=38) received the conventional treatment and ultrasonic therapy, whereas control group (n=36) only accepted the conventional treatment. Plasma levels of GMP-140 and vWF, hemorheology, and neurologic impairment were detected before and after treatment. Results: Plasma concentrations of GMP-140 and vWF, low shear viscosity and neurologic impairment decreased significantly after treatment in both groups (P＜0.05-0.01), especially in ultrasonic group. Conclusion: The ultrasonic therapy could facilitate the recovery of the neurological function by reducing GMF-140 and vWF levels and improving the hemorheology in ACI patients." @default.
