• W656595861 abstract "Im direkten Einsatz als Kraftstoff in konventionellen Motoren hat sich in komprimierter Form schon seit laengerem bewaehrt. Erdgasfahrzeuge sind sparsam, sicher und sauber. Die circa 20.000 Erdgasfahrzeuge in Deutschland, welche bisher in den verschiedensten Einsatzfaellen am Markt platziert sind, beweisen dies. Trotzdem reagierte der Markt bisher zoegerlich auf die Einfuehrung dieses alternativen Kraftstoffes. Erst durch das Zusammenfuehren der verschiedenen Interessengruppen, wie zum Beispiel Politik, Automobilindustrie, Mineraloel- und Erdgaswirtschaft, kam es zur verstaerkten Markteinfuehrung von Erdgasfahrzeugen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Fahrzeughersteller, die Erdgasfahrzeuge in die Serienproduktion aufgenommen haben, und die Erdgaswirtschaft, die ein umfangreiches Erdgastankstellennetz aufbaut. Im Beitrag wird ueber die mittelfristige Strategie der deutschen Gaswirtschaft und der VNG (Verbundnetz Gas) AG Leipzig zum Aufbau einer flaechendeckenden Erdgastankstellen-Infrastruktur und der vielfaeltigen Einsatzmoeglichkeiten des Kraftstoffes Erdgas als neues Marktsegment berichtet. Im Speziellen wird auf den Algorithmus zur Erfassung des Marktpotenziales und der daraus resultierenden wirtschaftlichen Anwendung dieser Antriebstechnologie eingegangen. Der betriebswirtschaftlich orientierte Vortrag schliesst die jeweilige Fahrzeugtechnik ein. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: Compressed natural gas (CNG) has proven itself as a replacement fuel for the direct use in conventional engines for a long time yet. Vehicles running on CNG are economic, safe and clean which is demonstrated by about 20,000 CNG cars in Germany. Anyway, up to now the market responded rather reluctantly to introduce the alternative fuel natural gas. Only after bringing together the very different groups, for example policy, automobile industry, mineral oil industry and natural gas economy, the market launch of CNG vehicles was reinforced. Volume production by the car makers and an expanding number of filling stations for CNG built by the natural gas economy has to be highlighted. This contribution reports on the medium-term strategy of the German natural gas economy and the VNG (Verbundnetz Gas AG) in Leipzig as a part of it for the development of an areawide infrastructure of filling stations for CNG as well as on the various application possibilities of the fuel CNG as a new market segment. Special attention is drawn to the method of gathering the market potential and the resulting commercial application of this driving technology.
