Fields's Yesterdays With Authors* and Eleanor Melville Metcalfs Herman Melville: Cycle and Epicycle,5 ignoring fact that full letters, plus many more, are available in Hawthorne-Fields Letterbook housed in Houghton Library at Harvard, in Duyckinck and Berg Collections of New York Public Library, and in personal collection of Norman Holmes Pearson.
