- W73988462 abstract "This chapter describes the consumption model and means of its implementation. The existence of a consumption model means that in planned economy, the consumer's sovereignty does not exist in the way in which it is traditionally presented in economic literature. There is no automatic relationship between changes in effective demand the allocation of resources even in the consumer goods sector. This does not mean that such a reallocation as a result of changes in effective demand cannot or should not appear under socialism. There is nothing automatic about i and the connection between effective demand on the market and changes in the consumption plan is brought about by the planning apparatus. It appears that five groups of factors should first of all be taken into consideration when the consumption model is being set. There are factors that one can loosely term biological. Their influence can be observed most clearly in foodstuff in the form of the rational standards of nutrition but extends also to a large number of other fields, including designing of towns, furniture, and places of work." @default.
