Los conceptos de TDAH estan siendo revisados: muy proximamente, en el ano 2012 y en la proxima clasificacion de la Academia Americana de Psiquiatria, nos hablaran de un nuevo subtipo de TDAH, el trastorno por deficit de atencion e hiperactividad: pre- sentacion inatenta (restrictiva). Asimismo, uno de los principales objetivos es que los diversos subtipos del TDAH se identifiquen con variables clinicas que estudiadas mediante neuroimagen y genetica respondan a tratamientos especificos. Aixi mateix, un dels objectius principals es que els diversos subtipus del TDAH s'identifiquin amb variables cliniques que estudiades mitjancant neuroimatge i genetica responguin a tractaments especifics. The concepts inherent to the ADHD definition are currently being revised. In 2012, the next classification of the American Academy of Psychiatry will include a new subtype of ADHD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: Inattentive Presentation (Restrictive). Also, one of the main goals of the new classification is to identify the different subtypes of ADHD with unique clinical, neuroimaging, and genetic features, which may lead to specific treatments.
