- W765314380 abstract "This chapter looks briefly at the Argentine religious field in the hope of approximating the current reality, and then looking at how this situation has arisen. It outlines how Argentina has arrived at the juncture paying particular attention to the developments within the Protestant camp. It then looks briefly at the Roman Catholic context into which Protestantism was inserted, and then considers the major advances of the various brands of Protestantism in Argentina. Finally it is true that the Roman Catholic Church has lost its hegemony, and that various forms of Protestantism have entered and grown with variable success.
