- W794640601 abstract "Peculiarities of the interconnection of social norms and deviations in paramili-tary organizations are examined. The significance of the conflict between personal and corporate disciplinary elements in a paramilitary organization, between cruelty of formally mandated rules and needs of everyday life is shown. The role of insti-tutional deviations as a tool of the conflict resolution, as a way of evasion of sol-diery regulations, that is stimulated at informal level is disclosed. Examples of sol-diers’ social experience, using different models of deviant behavior (evasion of military service, absence without leave, alcohol drinking, etc.) are given. The meaning of institutional deviations in the process of the secondary socialization in military environment is shown." @default.
