Based on the foregoing considerations, this chapter explores the expansion of the right of association from the perspective of 30 years of civil society development. The chapter is divided into three parts, the historical background of the expansion of the civic right of association, the expansion of the civic right of association and the dilemmas associated with the civic right of association. From the perspective of freedom of association, three decades of the civic right of association is a process generated by the citizens. It represents an upgrading in capacity of the citizens, as well as a re-organization under the transition from a collective society to a post-collective society.
