- W82180868 abstract "Rahmawati Syarif. C24053576. Community Structure of Macroinvertebrate in Artificial Substrates and Natural Substrates Alami Lido Lake, Bogor. Under Guidance Yusli Wardiatno and Majariana Krisanti. Lido Lake in coordinate 1060 48’ 26”-1060 48’ 50” E dan 60 44’ 30”-60 44’ 58” S, Tugujaya Village, Cigombong District, Bogor, West Java. This lake is used as reservoir. Besides that also used for household, tour object, and fishery activity like KJA (Keramba Jaring Apung). Over exploitation of resources, input organic that come from KJA with activities other that are done to affect toward water condition change and enviroment of Lido Lake. One of the organism who influenced organic input is macroinvertebrate. Collection of macroinvertebrate not only be done by using conventional sampling techniques (e.g., grabs, dredges, or other devices) but also obtainable by using artificial substrates. This research aims to comparing of macroinvertebrates communities in artificial substrates with natural substrates. Thereby, can be made consideration for the best collection of benthic invertebrate in monitoring. Research during the February 2009 to October 2009 in Lido Lake, Bogor, West Java. Sample collection during fourth period in KJA station and Non KJA station. Result of research including number of genera, macroinvertebrates density, family composition, dominant genera, functional feeding groups, diversity index, and similarity index. While, water condition is reviewed from several physics and chemistry parameters, such as temperature, pH, DO, turbidity, H2S, TSS, TDS, BOD, and COD. A total of 41 genera macroinvertebrate from 13 ordo were found in Lido Lake. The number of genera macroinvertebrates community composed from every sampling. In natural substrates station KJA it wasn’t found macroinvertebrate. While, the number of genera gathered in artificial substrates much more than natural substrates in every station. Artificial substrates could be used as an alternative in biomonitoring program, which showed on its ability to colonized more variety macroinvertebrates. The number of genera gathered in artificial substrate much more than natural substrate could gathered in the same location and period. Artificial substrates could get macroinvertebrate when conventional sampling doesn’t efficient and effective to used. In the same station, composition of functional feeding group macroinvertebrate and macroinvertebrate was founded can be different between artificial substrates and natural subtrates.
