The aims of this research were to increase study result of science studies by implementing of discovery learning model with inquiry method. This research was classroom action research that consisted learning of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and questions test. The technique analysis of data used qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of research showed that the implementation of discovery learning model with inquiry method can increase study result of Science studies. Pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Metro Barat belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui penerapan model discovery learning dengan metode inkuiri. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat Pengumpul data menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model discovery learning dengan metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA.
