- W858993242 abstract "In this work a quantum mechanical model for the interaction of a two-electron atom with XUVand intense IR-laser elds is described. The system is treated with full electron correlation via a repulsive electron-electron interaction. The eigenstates were determined numerically by solving the time-dependent Schrodinger equation on a spatial grid. The electron motion is limited to one dimension for each electron due to computation time restraints. Using a time-resolved Fourier analysis the Rydberg-Series of singly excited states and those of doubly excited states were identi ed. By means of XUV-laserpulses the two-electron atom was excited to autoionizing states and the typical asymmetric line shapes of Fano resonances were observed. Furthermore a computer experiment is presented, where the autoionization dynamics of doubly excited states in a perturbating few-cycle IReld were followed in realtime. Broadening and inversion of Fano line shapes has been observed." @default.
