It can be seen from the number of test scores of students who do not completed minimum completeness criteria that is 65. From 23 students of V grade, only 30% student who passed in the up value of minimum completeness criteria. This research is focused for improve student’s mastery of concept V grade SDN 6 Cikidang in structure of the earth material with implementing of Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) model. It aimed to improve mastery of concepts student V grade SDN 6 Cikidang in science subjects structure of the earth material. This research used Clasroom Action Research (CAR) method that adapted from Clasroom Action Research by Kemmis & Mc Taggart. The subjects in this research is student V grade SDN 6 Cikidang, the distict of Lembang, Bandung Barat as much as 23 students. The data was collect by questions instrument of mastery of concepts and observation’ sheet of accomplished study with VAK model. Based on the study, the data obtained that student’s mastery of concepts on structure of the earth material has increased after applied learning with VAK model. Student’s average value at the first cycle was 71,38 meanwhile at the second cycle, student’s average value was 85,08. Judging from the average score of students, it appears that the mastery of the concepts students on the structure of the earth material has increased. Based on the study results, it is recommended for the development of further research that teachers can make or design their own learning media that can be adapted to suit the learning needs of the VAK model, creative involves three styles of learning, students can condition the state is completely ready and optimal before the start of the lesson so that students can easily be brought to the learning situation and make the students as comfortable as possible and relax when participating in learning. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari banyaknya nilai hasil tes siswa yang tidak memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) yaitu 65. Dari 23 siswa kelas V, hanya 30% siswa yang lulus di atas nilai KKM. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas V SDN 6 cikidang pada materi struktur bumi melalui penerapan model Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas V SDN 6 Cikidang pada pembelajaran IPA materi struktur bumi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang diadaptasi dari penelitian tindakan kelas menurut Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan siswi kelas V SDN 6 Cikidang, kecamatan Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat sebanyak 23 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen soal penguasaan konsep dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model VAK. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data bahwa penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi struktur bumi mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan pembelajaran dengan model VAK. Rata-rata nilai siswa pada siklus I yaitu 71,38 sementara pada siklus II, rata-rata nilai siswa yaitu 85,08. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapat maka direkomendasikan untuk perkembangan penelitian selanjutnya agar guru dapat membuat atau mendesain sendiri media pembelajaran sehingga dapat lebih disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran sesuai dengan model VAK, kreatif dalam melibatkan tiga gaya belajar, dapat mengkondisikan siswa dalam keadaan benar-benar siap dan optimal sebelum memulai pembelajaran sehingga siswa dapat dengan mudah dibawa ke situasi belajar dan membuat siswa senyaman dan serileks mungkin ketika mengikuti pembelajaran. Model VAK ini cocok diterapkan pada semua mata pelajaran sehingga dapat dijadikan referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya terhadap mata pelajaran lain ataupun materi IPA lainnya." @default.
