- W874605711 abstract "A study on ability of accumulation of heavy metal in different mollusca(including Mgtilus edulis,Lunatia giva and Neverita didyma collected from Yancheng seashore bottomland) and their different tissues and organs was carried out.The result indicated that there was significantly different of the accumulation of heavy metals in the three kinds of shellfishes referred above(P0.05),and that the ratios of the contents of Cu,Mn and Fe were 1:24.8:12.9,1:6.8:5 and 1:0.7:1.2 in Mgtilus edulis,Lunatia giva, and Neverita didyma, respectively. In addition, the result also indicated that there was significantly different of the accumulation of heavy metals existed in different organs of the same shellfish(P0.05).Among the all organs and tissues examined in Mgtilus edulis, visceral sac was the organ which contained the most Cu,Fe and Mn.In Lunatia giva,it was proved that the concentration of Cu and Mn,Fe,Pb and Cd was the highest in its liver, esophageal glands, feet, visceral sac, respectively. But,in Neverita didyma, the concentration of Cu and Mn,Fe,and Pb was the highest in visceral sac, esophageal gland and gills, respectively. We thought that the different of contents of Pb between Lunatia giva and Neverita didyma was caused by their different absorbability mechanism.Namely,Pb enters into Lunatia giva by permeation, while through gills in Neverita didyma." @default.
