- W8755478 abstract "ツバキの園芸品種‘炉開き’はその形態的特徴，発見された地域や状況等から，ヤブツバキ（Camellia japonica）の変種ユキツバキ（C. japonica var. decumbens）とチャ（C. sinensis）の種間交雑種であると考えられてきた．しかし，決定的証拠ともいえるDNAについて‘炉開き’の雑種性について検討した例はなかった．‘炉開き’について，DNAマーカーの一種であるRAPD（Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA）およびSSR（Simple Sequence Repeat）マーカーによる解析を行った．RAPDによる解析においては，‘炉開き’から検出されたRAPDバンドの全てがチャ，ヤブツバキのいずれかより検出された．さらに，チャでは多型が全く検出されなかったチャのSSRマーカー（TMSLA-45）についてヤブツバキを調査したところ，チャとは異なる増幅産物が検出され，‘炉開き’はチャとヤブツバキの増幅産物を共有していることが確認された．これらの結果は‘炉開き’が種間交雑種であることを強く支持するものであった．続いて母性遺伝RAPDまたはそれをe-RAPD（emphasized-RAPD）化したものを用いて‘炉開き’の細胞質を調査し，日本在来のチャの細胞質とは異なることを確認した．これらの結果より，‘炉開き’は種子親がヤブツバキ，花粉親がチャの種間交雑種であると結論された．また，チャと‘炉開き’を交雑し，両者の形態的特徴を色濃く反映する一個体を得た．この個体について調査し，ヤブツバキ由来のRAPDおよびSSRマーカーが‘炉開き’を経由してこの個体へと遺伝していることを確認し，チャ育種における‘炉開き’のヤブツバキの遺伝子の導入のための橋渡し親としての利用に道を拓く結果を得た．" @default.
