- W922984947 abstract "Recently, dynamic traffic assignment-related studies livelily performed for identifying and controlling the real time traffic conditions, and ultimately relieving the transportation problems. However, these studies have been carried out not by the vehicle modes but by the single vehicle mode on the assumption that all the vehicles are composed of the single vehicle mode. So, this study is focused on classifying the vehicle modes of the surface transportation into the passenger car and bus, and also applying the dynamic network loading model to the real network with the vehicle modes for identifying and maintaining the speed characteristics of the transit mode. Based on the results of the dynamic network loading model applied to the imaginary route with the vehicle modes, the dynamic network loading model is applied to the real network at the CBD (central business district) area during the periods: morning peak, afternoon non-peak, and afternoon peak in the city of Busan. The results showed that identifying and controlling the travel time of the bus routes could make the real network stable and smooth during the peak periods." @default.
