- W947104112 abstract "Nanometer manganese dioxide (MnO2) particles were prepared by the method of sol-emulsion-gel. The effects of the stability of MnO2 so1 prepared from different reducers, the content of emulsifier and gelling agent on the sizes and morphology of the samples were discussed in detail. The results showed that fumaric acid is most favorable to prepare MaO2 sol. The surfactant composite of Span80 and Tween80 is also considered as the good emulsifier. When the ratios of oil to sol and emulsion to solution of gelling a-gent (ratio of volume) were equal to 4:1 and 8:3, respectively, the spheric and nearly mono-dispersed particles of manganese dioxide with uniform size were obtained. The catalysis of the products prepared by the method of sol-emulsion-gel was much higher than that of analytical agent." @default.
