- W972413285 abstract "Objective To study the role of food intolerance-specific IgG (FI-sIgG) and TNF-α in the pathogenesis of prurigo nodularis (PN). Methods Serum level s of FI-sIgG, TNF-α, total IgG and IgG subtypes in 34 PN patients and 20 normal controls were measured by ELISA and nephelometry assay, respectively. Results Prevalence of serum FI-sIgG and level of TNF-α were significantly higher in PN group than those in control group (P＜0.05). Compared with control group, serum level of IgG1 and IgG4 increased, but that of IgG2 decreased in PN group (P＜0.05). Conclusion TNF-α upexpression induced by food intolerance may be involved in the pathogenesis of PN." @default.
