We can see this confusion on Wikipedia page on time: Time is a dimension in which events can be ordered from the past through the present into the future, [1][2][3][4][5][6] and also the measure of durations of events and the intervals between them. [3][7][8] Time has long been a major subject of study in religion, philosophy, and science, but defining it in a manner applicable to all fields without circularity has consistently eluded scholars. It gets worse as you then look up the definition of motion on Wikipedia: In physics, motion is a change in position of an object with respect to time and its reference point. It jumps off the insanity cliff of pure delusion when they start inventing motionless reality: A body which does not move is said to be at rest, motionless, immobile, stationary, or to have constant (time-invariant) position. Since time means motion, they literally say that there is a timeless reality that has been measured. It is insane to believe this. They want you to believe that there are parts to the universe that do not experience time/motion. This should be no surprise to the reader as a motionless universe is a pillar to the mathematical physics religion. Their religion has been continuing to make a mockery of the sciences with irrational, delusional math conjecture that makes definitions circular and ruins all ability to make reasonable conclusions for how nature operates.
