- W996942427 abstract "Objective: To investigate the literature utilization in the field of medicine through analyzing the quotations of Acta Universitasis Medicinalis Nanjing. Methods: A bibliometric analysis was performed using the treatises of Acta Universitasis Medicinalis Nanjing for the period of 2000-2004. The time distribution and language distribution of the quotations were analyzed, and the Price's index and the half-life time of the quotations were calculated. Bradford's law was used to investigate the core journals of the quotations. Results: ①The total quotations amounted to 6141. The mean number of quotations of per article was 7.53; ②The major part of the quotations was articles in English, which occupied 68.80%; ③Price's index was 43%, and the half-life was 5.43 years; ④According to Bradford's law, there were 19 journals in Chinese and 40 in English in the core field respectively. Conclusion: The citations of Acta Universitasis Medicinalis Nanjing cover wide fields, and the main type is journal. The leading language is English. The citations are mostly articles published in recent years, which reveals that the articles published in Acta Universitasis Medicinalis Nanjing can keep abreast with the development of medicine." @default.
